Needing space for an elderly relative who is still wishing to retain their independence, we were contacted to progress plans for a Granny Annexe in Nottingham.
We examined the site prior to purchasing the property to give a view about whether the house had a reasonable prospect of success. Another property we examined for the couple was much more constrained and had a raised garden where it was likely concerns would have been raised.
The site in this case was deemed a good bet and the clients proceeded with the purchase whilst the planning application was being prepared and subsequently considered by the Council. We are pleased to say we secured planning permission and building regulations approvals and have heard the building is going ahead. So glad to have helped to have kept this family together and provide for the needs of their relative.
